The Walshe Group is processing applications for a PR executive to work with the travel and tourism industry. The PR executive will be given a variety of tasks, including drafting press releases, running media events, and coordinating itineraries. The job will also carry an opportunity to work with clients of Walshe’s partner firms. Candidates must be graduates of communications, PR or journalism courses with around three years of PR/communications agency experience, including a proven record of organising publicity projects and producing content for multi-platform distribution. The person should also exhibit strong organisational and time-management skills, capability to pitch story ideas, and develop media relations. The job will also require applicants who can go on domestic and international travel assignments, plus work on flexible hours as needed. Candidates proficient in MS Office and who have worked in the travel/tourism industry may be highly considered.
