Priyanshi Sharma, a news anchor and reporter for NDTV, has announced her departure from the network as she embarks on a new journey in management studies at the Indian School of Business, Influencing India has confirmed.  In a LinkedIn update, Sharma said she was excited about becoming a student again after four years of working. She looks forward to what she hopes will be a transformative year.  Sharma reflected on her time in journalism, noting that much has changed in the last four years and expressed anticipation for the changes that lie ahead.  Prior to her journalism career, Sharma worked as a financial executive at Deloitte India. She later transitioned to a role as a senior reporter for the Times Network before joining NDTV. 

Paul Covington, the General Manager of 2GF and FM 1047 in Grafton, is stepping down from his role after nearly four decades with the Super Radio Network in the region, RadioInfo reported. Covington has been a key figure in the local radio industry, overseeing the operations of both stations. Under Covington's leadership, 2GF celebrated its 90th birthday in 2023. His dedication to the stations and the industry was evident, with Covington joking on social media that he had been at 2GF for around 40% of its existence. Covington's retirement marks the end of an era in local radio. His contributions to 2GF and FM 1047 have been significant, and he leaves behind a legacy of excellence and commitment to serving the community through radio broadcasting.  

9News Queensland is set to broadcast Brisbane’s annual Dawn Service live from the Shrine of Remembrance in ANZAC Square, continuing its tradition of paying tribute to ANZAC Day. The broadcast will air on Channel 9 and 9Now this Thursday. Renowned news presenter Andrew Lofthouse will lead the coverage on 9News Queensland as he has for over a decade. The service will begin at 4.28 am, mirroring the time of the historic landing at Gallipoli in 1915, and will continue until the first light at dawn breaks. The event will see official guests, dignitaries, a veterans’ contingent, and a catafalque party, along with members of the public, gathering to pay homage to the sacrifices made by ANZAC heroes.
