BRISBANE, Australia - Brisbane Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner will deliver the keynote address at the Brisbane North Chamber of Commerce's 2025 Business Leaders Breakfast on Thursday, 11 September 2025.
The event puts a spotlight on how local businesses can capitalise on the opportunities presented by the 2032 Olympics and Paralympics. Joining the Lord Mayor will be a high-profile panel including the Hon.Steve Minnikin, Minister for Customer Services and Open Data and Minister for Small and Family Business; Natalie Cook OAM OLY, five-time Olympian and Founder of Aussie Athlete Fund; and Scott Whimpey, Owner and Director of First Aid Accident and Emergency based in the Gold Coast.
With the 2032 Games expected to generate billions in economic activity, the event will provide practical insights on how businesses across Brisbane can position themselves to benefit from increased tourism, infrastructure development and global exposure. The expert panel will provide valuable insights and first-hand experience on how local businesses can take advantage of the exciting benefits the Games will bring to Brisbane.
