PERIFA secures green light for mixed use precinct in Bayswater, Perth

15 October, 2025 (Perth, Australia): Leading Sydney developer, PERIFA, part of end-to-end property specialists, Versatile Group, has expanded its operations into Western Australia after securing Development Approval (DA) for a nine-storey mixed-use precinct in Bayswater, Perth. The DA was secured alongside PERIFA's specialist medical and health development services partner, Corim Properties.
Set to become a one-stop health and wellbeing precinct for the Bayswater community, 16-20 Beechboro Road South will include a mix of retail and wellbeing amenities on the ground floor, a medical centre on level 1 and 73 oversized, modern apartments above.
Providing a crucial consolidated health precinct for the suburb, it will significantly improve local access to essential healthcare services, for example: general practitioners, specialists, pathology and diagnostic imaging. Leasing will commence in the coming weeks, led by ProProperty Group.
The 3,000 sqm project will also include below ground parking, offering 153 parking bays for both residents and customers.
The project marks a significant milestone for PERIFA as it expands into Western Australia. While primarily known for its delivery of a diverse portfolio of high-profile projects in the Sydney market, in August, Versatile Group announced its expansion into Queensland.

Located just 300 metres from the new Bayswater Station, this connected, walkable location will directly contribute to the Bayswater district regeneration, which is being driven by the METRONET Bayswater Station project.
The project will contribute to the transformation of Bayswater Bridge District into a contemporary urban community for Western Australians. The regeneration includes a new station and an integrated road and bridge network, alongside extensive redevelopment of public infrastructure to support the projected growth of the region.
Upon review of the proposal, Development WA confirmed that the project would improve housing supply, choice and affordability and enable land use diversity within the Town Centre.
Construction is expected to commence in early 2026.
