NetComm Opens New Joint Global R&D Center in Hanoi, Vietnam in partnership with parent company, Zhone Technologies, Inc.

HANOI, Vietnam, February  12, 2026 - NetComm. ("NetComm" or the "Company"), together with Zhone Technologies, today announced the opening of their new joint Research and Development (R&D) Center in Hanoi, Vietnam,  further expanding the Company's global engineering footprint and strengthening its ability to deliver innovative broadband access and cloud software solutions worldwide.

The new Vietnam office is located on the 20th floor of the IDMC My Dinh Building, 15 Pham Hung St., Cau Giay Ward, Hanoi, Vietnam and was developed as a joint development center servicing the R&D needs of both NetComm, and it's parent company, Zhone Technologies, Inc. The 5,500-square-foot facility includes a large, dedicated laboratory for research, development, and quality assurance, a Wi-Fi test room, and two employee relaxation areas designed to foster collaboration, innovation, and productivity.

The Hanoi R&D Center will support software and hardware development as well as quality assurance and testing across product lines from both NetComm and its parent company, Zhone Technologies, Inc.

The site will focus on advancing key technologies including NetComm's Fixed Wireless Access, Fibre Extension, and Wi-Fi products as well as Zhone's Optical Line Terminals (OLT), Optical Network Terminals (ONT)/Wi-Fi Gateways, optical transport products, and Xtreme Cloud software management platform, enhanced with artificial intelligence capabilities.

NetComm and Zhone plan to staff the new office with approximately 25 employees at launch, with plans to grow to 50 employees by the second quarter of 2026.
