Announcement posted by 1receipt® 12 Feb 2026

Digital receipt platform 1receipt will roll out a consumer activation at Melbourne Central on February 23, marking its first major rollout for the year.
The activation signals the start of a broader strategy to expand the platform's presence across high-traffic retail precincts as the company targets increased adoption of paperless receipt technology.
1receipt provides a digital alternative to thermal paper receipts, allowing shoppers to receive and store receipts electronically at the point of sale without sharing personal details.
The platform is positioned as a response to growing sustainability and data privacy concerns, aiming to reduce reliance on paper receipts while organising transaction records digitally.
"We are thrilled to bring 1receipt directly to shoppers in the heart of Melbourne," said Shahryar Faraji, Founder and CEO of 1receipt.
"Melbourne Central is one of the city's most vibrant retail hubs, making it the perfect location to demonstrate how effortless the checkout experience can be when you remove paper clutter from the equation."
The February activation is the first in a series of planned rollouts during the first half of 2026. Further consumer activations are scheduled for major shopping centres including Westfield Doncaster, Highpoint and Chadstone.
