Perth's first SHANX Mini Golf course now open at OuttaBounds

Perth, Western Australia - OuttaBounds has officially opened Perth's first SHANX-
designed mini golf course, bringing a new level of outdoor play and social golf
entertainment to the city.

Constructed in collaboration with SHANX Mini Golf and GreenSpace Management
(the only R&A-endorsed mini golf course company globally), the bespoke 14-hole,
dual-pin course introduces a fresh take on mini golf in Western Australia. Designed
for all ages and skill levels, the course focuses on inclusive fun, light competition and
shared moments.

A course designed for everyone
OuttaBounds Mini Golf blends creative, golf-focused terrain with rolling contours and
multiple pin positions at each hole. The dual-pin design allows families and mixed-
skill groups to play together while still keeping the game interesting.

The experience has been carefully designed to feel relaxed and social:

• 14-hole bespoke SHANX course. 
• Dual-pin layout to suit different skill levels.
• Central playground integrated into the course footprint.
• Shaded areas throughout the space.
• Festoon lighting, creating a cozy ambience in the evening.
• Equipment provided (putters, balls, scorecards and pencils).
• A round typically takes approx. 45 -60 minutes, making it an easy add-on to a longer visit or a complete activity on its own.
• A natural extension of the OuttaBounds experience.

The new mini golf course expands OuttaBounds' existing offering, which includes
high-tech driving range bays, indoor simulators, darts and a premium food and
beverage menu.

General Manager Jason Roach said the addition reflects growing demand for
inclusive, off-course golf experiences.

"Mini golf brings people together in a way that's genuinely accessible. It's relaxed, it's
social and it works just as well for a family afternoon as it does for a date night, corporate event or a group celebration."

Family-friendly by design
The course has been intentionally designed with families in mind. 

Children can use the integrated playground while playing mini golf under parent or
guardian supervision.

Importantly, the outdoor course sits alongside OuttaBounds' food and beverage
offering, allowing parents and carers to relax nearby in the beer garden while
suitably aged children play under active parent or guardian supervision. The
integrated design means families can enjoy the activity together, without feeling
confined to one space.

Mini golf is suitable for all ages, from young children through to grandparents.
Children under 4 play free with paying adults.

Operating hours
Mini golf trading hours align with OuttaBounds venue hours:

Sun - Mon: 9am - 9pm
Tue: 10am - 9pm
Wed - Thu: 9am - 9pm
Fri - Sat: 9am - 11pm

• Last tee-off is one hour prior to closing to ensure guests can complete their
  round comfortably.
• No bookings are required for general play.
