Announcement posted by Seniors Plus 19 May 2026
- The Neo Plus includes electric horizontal and vertical (high-low) adjustment options.
- It also features a Trendelenburg tilt setting for clinical applications.
- The base is enhanced whole-body vibration (massage) therapy, making it a Class I medical device.
The Neo Plus features multiple points of adjustment, allowing independent head and leg elevation. Using the base's remote control, sleepers can choose from preset positions like zero-gravity or create and save their own.
'Having a bed that adjusts to your body is quite special,' said Chris Fabre, the head of sales at Seniors Plus. 'For example, around 16% of Australians live with chronic back pain and find normal beds deeply uncomfortable. The ability to sleep in something like the zero-gravity position - which alleviates pressure on the lumbar spine - can lead to instant, very significant improvements in quality of life.'
The base also incorporates a 'high-low' vertical lift function and a Trendelenburg tilt option. The Trendelenburg position, which tilts the bed horizontally while keeping its surface flat, is widely used in clinical settings during surgery and recovery.
'Postoperative recovery is a growing concern for many of our customers,' said Mr Fabre. 'The likelihood of major surgery goes up as we age, and owning a sleep system with a Trendelenburg tilt means you may be able to spend more of your recovery at home.
'We're also very conscious that getting in and out of bed is a leading cause of falls, especially for older Australians. It's why high-low beds - which alleviate that risk - have been a core part of our product range for many years. The Neo Plus is the latest culmination of that research.'
The Neo Plus's 3 adjustment modes are enhanced with whole-body vibration therapy (WBVT). WBVT has been proven to reduce back pain and improve circulation, and is registered with the Therapeutic Goods Administration as a Class 1 medical device.
'A keystone belief of ours has always been that your sleep surface should support your health,' said Mr Fabre. 'The Neo Plus has been designed for Australians who struggle to get the sleep they need on rigid beds or basic adjustable beds.'
The Neo Plus will join the Caelum, the company's original adjustable base model. Following the new base's launch, Seniors Plus will sunset legacy models such as the HiLo Euro, the HiLo Neo, and the Cloud.
