NetComm Becomes the First Gateway Vendor to Join Australia's Security Labelling Scheme Pilot

NetComm today announced it is the first and only Australian router vendor participating in the Pilot of the Australian Security Labelling Scheme for Smart Devices, launched by the Minister for Home Affairs and Minister for Cyber Security, the Hon. Tony Burke, MP.

The industry-led voluntary scheme, developed in partnership with the Australian Government under the 2023-2030 Australian Cyber Security Strategy, aims to give consumers clear, trusted information about the security of smart devices at the point of purchase and to encourage manufacturers to build stronger security by design.

NetComm, a long-standing Australian designer and manufacturer of high-quality broadband routers and connectivity solutions, has committed to the pilot. Its brand-new router, scheduled for launch in Q4 2026, will participate in the labelling scheme.
