Announcement posted by Planit 18 Sep 2012
Monday, 10 September 2012 – Leading software testing company, Planit has today become a valued member of the Common Web Services panel, lending its website testing expertise to future New Zealand Government projects.
Inclusion on the panel will further strengthen Planit’s government client-base, providing a full suite of website testing services across all test levels and test types. This includes developing and executing test plans, performing functional testing, usability testing, interface testing, database testing, performance testing and security testing.
Commenting on the agreement, Planit’s Director of Testing Services for New Zealand, Simon Farrant said “joining the Common Web Services panel is the latest landmark in the rapid growth of Planit and is a real achievement. There is no better way to gain validation for our hard work than to have the government officially give us their stamp of approval.”
“We have the tools, knowledge, experience and man-power to satisfy the government’s testing needs, with over 100 permanent testing professionals based in New Zealand and around 500 employees internationally.”
Effective immediately, eligible government agencies can use this syndicated procurement agreement, acquiring Planit’s website testing services without having to engage in a tender process. This provides agency access to Planit’s expert team of internationally benchmarked testers, each possessing extensive domain knowledge and vast levels of experience in the application and implementation of innovative and effective test techniques and services.
Discussing the Panel, Farrant said “it’s a smart initiative that promotes efficiencies in government.”
“We enjoy a close relationship with numerous New Zealand government departments and look forward to building similar bonds with new agencies and projects. Our core focus is on quality outcomes, which is perhaps the thing we most look forward to delivering for Common Web Services and future government projects.”
