KYOCERA Document Solutions Launches 6th Generation ECOSYS Printers

KYOCERA Document Solutions’ latest generation of printer reduces power consumption by 30% 

Monday 22 October, 2012: KYOCERA’s 6th Generation ECOSYS printer range offers great total cost of ownership (TCO) savings - minimal servicing and drums that last for up to 500,000 prints.

KYOCERA Document Solutions, one of the world’s leading document solutions companies, launches a five-strong printer family for the 40 to 60ppm A4 category. The FS-4300DN, FS-4200DN, FS-4100DN, FS-2100DN and FS-2100D, each offer very low TEC (Typical Electricity Consumption) and one of the lowest costs per page in their class. Each mono printer has long life components as standard, with the FS-4300DN, FS-4200DN and FS-4100DN hosting a printer drum that lasts for up to 500,000 prints.

The TEC of KYOCERA’s new printer family is 30% lower than its predecessors and the lower energy consumption can reduce both electricity bills for customers and their CO2 emissions. 

The new 500,000 pages printer drum, which lasts up to 50 times longer than the competition, is the next phase of KYOCERA’s ECOSYS technology. With long life components as standard KYOCERA printers have one of the lowest costs per page in their class, an important consideration when printing in large volumes.

Some print runs require additional security to ensure only authorised access to sensitive information. For this reason, KYOCERA’s new family of printers are all equipped with Private Printing as standard.
