John Ridgway, Managing Principal of PLN (Sydney) and Primo Afeau, Managing Principal of Primo Afeau Legal Services (Solomon Islands) are pleased to announce an association to provide cross border legal services. Primo Afeau is the Managing Principal of Primo Afeau Legal Services and is admitted in New Zealand and the Solomon Islands. “I am proud to announce Primo Afeau Legal Services is now a member of PLN” said Primo Afeau. “The association boasts over 20 lawyers with experience and a strong understanding of the legal and business environment in and across the Pacific region, including the Solomon Islands. Relevantly, PLN has extensive expertise in international business and financing transactions, financial services, telecommunications, government dealings and international taxation. I look forward to working with John and his team on a number of existing projects that will positively impact the lives of many Solomon Islanders”.

Whilst respecting the status of Primo Afeau Legal Services as an independent Solomon Islands law firm, the relationship provides clients operating in the Solomon Islands with a broad platform of legal and commercial expertise both locally and regionally.

“The association is exciting for me and for the member firms of PLN on a number of levels” said John Ridgway. “Personally, I have been travelling to the Solomons for nearly 20 years and have been involved in a number of exciting projects during that period. I have had the opportunity to work with Primo for some time now, and have every confidence in him and in the ability of his firm to deliver first world quality services in an exciting, challenging and growing market. I am delighted to be able to formalise this arrangement with Primo and his firm. For our fellow PLN member firms, the association provides a sound platform for trans-Pacific business and for greater economic co-operation and investment from and in the Pacific region. It is exciting times for us, and this development is added testament to that.”
