Norwood's first co-working space to launch in 2013

Announcement posted by That Space 30 Nov 2012

UMAS graduate, entrepreneur and business owner opens brand new co-working space in Norwood, SA.

South Australians are shouting for more space and we’re here to give it to them!

Introducing That Space, Norwood’s first collaborative, co-working environment, a place for entrepreneurs and small businesses to work for themselves, not by themselves.

Ideally located, on The Parade in the heart of Norwood, That Space is currently in the process of being renovated and completely decked out for the comfort, enjoyment and ultimate success of its soon-to-be members.

‘Work for yourself, not by yourself’. That’s the tagline and it’s one that sums up the answer to one of the major issues facing entrepreneurs and small businesses; Cabin Fever’.

Entrepreneur and Director of That Space, Nicholas Duncan is very familiar with the concept of a co-working space. Having lived in Boston, USA for 5 years, Nicholas witnessed the rise of co-working spaces.  After graduating from UMAS University he strived to develop his own business opportunities and worked from CIC, a co-working space neighboring MIT University.

Nick was able to start a successful business from a co-working space and wants to give South Australian small-businesses and entrepreneurs a chance to do the same, hence That Space!
