World’s leading voice expert David Coury brings groundbreaking women’s workshop to Melbourne on April 18th

Announcement posted by Gobee Group 15 Apr 2013

David is a supportive, spectacular voice teacher that hits all the right notes.” Ariel Winter, actor on ABC’s “Modern Family”

“David has an uncanny knack for knowing how to bring out the best in each individual. It’s like a sixth sense. I am deeply grateful for having had the opportunity to work with him.”  Jennifer Hansen, media personality, news reader, blogger

“One of the great things about David’s workshop is that you don’t have to be a singer. His workshop is about giving women the tools to be able to express themselves with power and authenticity.”  Monique Edwards, actor, singer and director

Having worked with Freya Stafford, Sarah Plummer and Jennifer Fletcher, David Coury will bring his international vocal expertise and deep-rooted passion for helping women uncover the power of their voices to a broader audience on Thursday April 18th with his “Voice Workshop for Women” in Melbourne. This marks the first time David’s workshop is being held outside the US.

A sterling master voice technician who has worked with every major American TV network (NBC, FOX, MTV, E!), David also collaborates with corporate and celebrity clients, from David Lyle, CEO of National Geographic Channels, to Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum selling artist Leona Lewis, who calls David “amazing.” David is Vocal Director at Howard Fine Acting Studio, one of the most highly respected actor training centres in the world, which is based in LA and Melbourne.

“In this world of communication, you are not significant unless you are heard. And I am certain that my on-your-feet, fear-squashing adventure of a workshop will transform the potent vocal capabilities of the women who attend,” said David. “I will be providing attendees with the same knowledge, skills and tools used by the world’s top actors, musicians and leaders, to improve not just their voices, but their professional and personal lives as well.”

The workshop will focus on helping attendees understand the nature and nuance of voice; tackle vocal challenges; and learn revolutionary breathing, singing and speech techniques through workouts and exercises. Similar to an archeologist, David will dig through the clutter to unearth true and unique voices. The women who attend will leave speaking with greater confidence and conviction.
