2013 ANZIIF TurksLegal Claims Scholarship now open

TurksLegal and the Australian Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) are pleased to invite ANZIIF members Australia-wide to enter the 2013 ANZIIF TurksLegal Claims Scholarship.

The winner of the 2013 Scholarship will, for the first time, have the opportunity to choose between two prizes - $5,000 cash and registration to the 2014 ANZIIF Claims Convention, or an overseas conference package valued up to $8,000.

Entries close on 13 October 2013 and the winner will be announced at the ANZIIF NSW General Insurance breakfast in Sydney on 5 December 2013.

“We are pleased to once again provide this Scholarship,” said Paul Angus, Partner, General Insurance, TurksLegal.

“The Scholarships continues to promote excellence in general insurance claims – from the sharing of best practices and great ideas across the claims industry, to encouraging those working in claims to broaden their professional horizons.”

Entrants must submit a paper up to a 2,500 words addressing one of five questions drawn from current issues affecting the insurance industry.

“We are delighted to partner with TurksLegal once again in 2013,” said Joan Fitzpatrick, Chief Executive, ANZIIF.

”The Scholarship, now in its sixth year, provides a significant career development opportunity for claims professionals working in Australia’s general insurance industry, and we encourage everyone who is eligible to submit an application.”

Further information including the essay topics and application form are available at www.turkslegal.com.au and www.theinstitute.com.au.
