InfoReady ranked in Top 10 of BRW Fast100
IM specialist sees stellar growth of 119% over past three years
Melbourne, 21 October 2013: Business Intelligence consultancy InfoReady has made the BRW Fast 100 list for 2013, ranking ninth.
The Fast 100, compiled by Business Review Weekly, celebrates Australia’s fastest growing companies. Rankings are based on average annual revenue growth rates over the past three years, with InfoReady recording stellar growth of an average 119% a year during that period.
InfoReady MD Tristan Sternson says the win is a huge honour for InfoReady, which is one of only two business services companies to make the top 10.
"We're thrilled to have been ranked so highly in BRW's Fast 100 list this year. It's been a tougher economic climate for many industries, so to have seen such strong ongoing growth is a wonderful result for InfoReady," Mr Sternson says.
According to Mr Sternson, InfoReady's growth was driven by it focus on excellence, as well as identifying a key niche in a fast growing sector, information management.
"We started as a small one-man player, and are now competing with the biggest global consultancies in the market - and consistently beating them, purely because of our focus on services, which depend on great people and true expertise. Companies selling things need the best products, companies selling services need the best people, and we have both," he says.
InfoReady is currently the only firm in the APAC region offering information management-based consulting. Its work in business intelligence helps other companies become more efficient and competitive.
"We identified increasing market demand for Business Intelligence consulting and also the lack of niche specialist firms performing that service. Previously, customers would have to go to global companies without the expert local knowledge and on-the-ground presence that we offer," Mr Sternson says.
Talent has been critical for InfoReady, which has a full-time talent manager to ensure that it attracts and retains the best people.
"We've create an environment for IM specialists to work together, and grow and collaborate, and we encourage all our consultants to continue their research. We want our people to keep learning: we don't just hire experts, we recruit people who are continually increasing their expertise. Ongoing research is integral to what makes us an industry leader," Mr Sternson says.
InfoReady is headquartered in Melbourne and also has offices in Sydney and Brisbane. It has a range of blue chip clients including IAG, NAB, MLC, Optus, Queensland Super, Ace Insurance and a number of Queensland government departments. InfoReady also recently completed deals at Dodo, QSuper, Energex, Teritory Insurance Office, Pepper Australia and Superpartners.
