Project 0 transforms drinking fountains into public ART

0 is different. It’s not just-another-water-bottle, it’s part of Project 0; a much bigger picture.
W h y
In the past 10 years we used more plastic than in the previous century combined. Plastic Pollution is everywhere. Even though bottled water is just one aspect of this gigantic problem, it’s one that is easy to address. Just bottle your own water. Always. This way, in Australia alone, we will save 400+ Million plastic bottles going to landfill as well as half a billion valuable dollars.
First things first
Let’s start with BY0. As said, 0 is different. Pronounced as ’eau' it’s the fancy French word for water, 0 in BY0 means 'bring your 0' or even better ‘bottle your 0'. 0 is black and bold with a container made of 100% recycled plastic. Now a LIMITED 1ST RELEASE of 0 is available on the project0.co website.
Why a limited release? Well, we not only want you to have the opportunity to get in first and feel special. But honestly, we really need some sales. Then we can continue with the next step, the key to Project 0; The big picture part.
The big picture
Drinking fountains should bring a smile to our face, right? Make us feel happy and stimulate us to BY0 - bring our own water bottle. But this isn't the case. Most of us feel uncomfortable using public fountains. They're cold, stainless steel, urinal resembling, impersonal objects. As a result we resort to buying bottled water even though we don't like paying for it and we don't like its environmental impact.
There has to be a better way.
Meet Project 0. Project 0 popularises, remodels and champions public drinking fountains and transforms them into public art. Each fountains will be a canvas for a local artist. It’s like the cow parade for drinking fountains. Soon Project 0 Art Fountains will pop up in Sydney, New York and Tokyo.
Art Fountains in combination with 0 water bottles will transform our water drinking habits and our dependency on bottled water. When more and more attractive, hygienic and easy to use Project 0 Fountains are popping up, we will be happy to BY0. Always. Everywhere. Delicious.
