BREATHE EASY WITH TURBOFORTE

AUSTRALIAN BUSHFIRES, ASTHMA AND OTHER BREATHING RELATED PROBLEMS

Australian bushfires are creating breathing problems for Australians who are exposed to smoke and harmful gasses. These gasses include Carbon Monoxide, Nitrogen Oxide, Carbon Dioxide and a variety of other compounds which could irritate sensitive airways, asthma and other breathing related problems.

TurboForte assists in these issues by:

Vibrating the airways which loosens mucus from the airway walls.

Intermittently increasing endo-bronchial pressure, which assists to maintain the clearing of the airways while a person exhales so that mucus does not become trapped as it moves up the air canal.

Accelerating expiratory air flow which facilitates the upward movement of the mucus through the airways so that it can be more easily cleared.

TurboForte is an extremely simple to use, light weight pipe shaped respiratory physiotherapy device. It is effective in helping to promote and maintain bronchial hygiene for users Worldwide who are effected by breathing issues including bushfires, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), Cystic Fibrosis, Bronchitis, Emphysema and other obstructive pulmonary diseases.

The TurboForte is made from sturdy, unyielding plastic and consists of the following components:

A mouthpiece (stem)

A protective cover

A density stainless steel ball

A circular cone

The steel ball’s oscillatory movement is function of the airflow rate and angular orientation of the device. When the ball’s oscillatory frequency matches the natural frequency of the patient’s chest wall and abdomen system, it will produce resonance which, intern, will enhance sputum clearance.

According to World Wide leading respiratory specialists, TURBOFORTE is a device that works effectively by combining positive expiratory pressure with high frequency oscillations with the airway. The TURBOFORTE must be used in the sitting or lying position. The patient inhales deeply and holds his or her breath for two or three seconds. Expiration should be slow through the TURBOFORTE® Valve, causing oscillations of the steel ball inside the cone of the TURBOFORTE®. Patients apply repeated exhalations through the valve. Routinely, three sets of fifteen exhalations are performed over twelve to twenty minutes. After each series of exhalations, patients are instructed to “huff” and cough, thereby aiding expectoration.
