Holocentric delves into the future of business management systems at its user conference

Holocentric will examine the Future of Business Management Systems, a topic that is of great significance as organisations struggle to innovate, improve and thrive in today’s rapidly changing workplace, at its Annual User Conference on 25-26 March 2014.

As organisations in both the public and private sectors move towards process-led operational structures, the need for intuitive and flexible business management systems is increasing.

Holocentric’s 2014 User Conference will bring together Australia’s leading business management system consultants and developers to discuss how forward-thinking organisations are using business management systems, like Holocentric’s Modelpedia, to:

  • Harvest organic knowledge and refine it into organisational knowledge.
  • Innovate, improve and thrive in a regulation heavy and complex business environment.
  • Channel the right standard operating procedures to workforces.

Holocentric CEO Bruce Nixon said, “Business management systems have shown to be highly effective for organisations needing to improve efficiency and manage operating costs as well as be beneficial when undertaking complex business transformations.”

“As we move into a future that will be increasingly led by technology, it is imperative organisations are equipped with the tools to help them navigate a changing environment while also able to make informed decisions, ensure enterprise-wide compliancy and continuous improvement as well as introduce new technologies efficiently,” added Mr Nixon.

Key speakers at the event include:

  • Marie Johnson, Managing Director and Chief Digital Officer at the Centre for Digital Business, presenting: Digital Disruption: Cutting through complexity, risk and red tape in government service delivery transformation
  • Bruce Nixon, CEO of Holocentric, presenting: The future of business management systems
  • Jody Redfern, Business Improvement Officer at Sydney Water, presenting: A challenge of change
  • Andrew Ross, Senior Manager, Business Architecture, I&BP at Westpac, presenting: Institutionalising a process centric culture or just herding cats?

A number of case studies highlighting the effective use of business management systems will be presented from Westpac, BT Financial Group, Department of Defence and Western Power.
