In our culture of the immediate, attention span is easy to lose, and
conventional teaching styles are no longer the most effective way to impact
students. A newly opened multifunctional
artistic school has enriched Sydney’s educational arena with revolutionising
teaching programs.
Founded in 2013 by Elaine Lin, a highly qualified and experienced music teacher, and Panny Tan, a talented and inspiring artist, the Eastern Suburbs Artistic School offers a safe learning environment for any age or skill level.
Initially starting as a private in-home music lessons initiative, the school has grown to become a vibrant studio in the heart of Double Bay area that now hosts over fifteen different avenues of learning, including piano, strings, guitar, singing, painting, drawing, arts and crafts, as well as multiple language courses.
“Since opening, our numbers have been steadily growing with new prospective students seeking for a creative venue to enable and cultivate their skills,” said Ms Lin. “It is our objective to help every student that walks through our doors to reach his or her highest potential.”
Providing a world-class education in modern high-quality learning environment with exceptional and highly supportive teachers,the Eastern Suburbs Artistic School has not only become popular among the aspiring young musicians and artist, but has also been acknowledged by the professional community becoming a finalist of the Australian Small Business Champion Awards 2014.
“We constantly design and recreate our programs to appeal to our students in the most relevant way, keeping it entertaining yet highly effective, and the results have been overwhelmingly positive,” said Ms Tan.
In its first five months of operations, the Eastern Suburbs Artistic School has already welcomed 60 students and expects to eventually grow to a population of a roughly 150 students by the end of the year.
