Higher fidelity, a new first person perspective and completely uncensored.
With the January 27th PC release date of Grand Theft Auto V for the PC rapidly approaching, online retailers and digital game distributors are gearing up to take pre-orders of the uncensored R18+ game that many in the mainstream media have branded a murder simulator.
The game features the same high level of violence that you can find in countless games before it but it also as plenty of drugs and sex in to the mix which is where most of it's criticism seems to be coming from.
With the addition of the first person perspective and higher resolution models, textures and improved animations, Rob Nelson, a member of the games development team has called the new and 'improved' version of the game an "Intense, in-your-face experience... literally".
The R18+ rating makes this game illegal to sell to minors, although many under 18 year old's will be acquiring the game online where it is impossible to enforce the age restriction, or have friends, older siblings or even parents buy a copy for them. Despite the fact that the game and it's questionable content is fairly easy for under age gamers to get their hands on, this is not the fault of the game, instead a failure of the distribution model and parents ability to control the media consumption of their children.
As a primarily online retailer, Evatech Custom Computers is one of many that already is offering pre-orders through its website. For more information on Grand Theft Auto V for PC visit Evatech.com.au
