Maysie Rings donates $10 from every ring sale to charity

You can think of Maysie as a philanthropic beauty queen who would like to bring to you world peace. We all know this won't be the case anytime soon. But anything we can do to make the world a better place is worth celebrating.

Maysie's Rings are simple. They share a message of love. One ring at a time Maysie wants to help a special charity one month at a time. You can see their ring collection and more about their business by visiting www.maysie.com.au

From every ring sold, $10 will go straight to the charity of the month. On the first Monday of each month, they will let you know who they’re supporting. On the last Friday of each month, they’ll will let you know how much they’ve managed to raise and funds will be transferred to the respective charity or a cheque will be provided.

Maysie’s founders Tahlia Maynard (23) and Cody Shorter (25) from Brisbane are trying to make a difference. Cody Shorter says “I guess we all have our drivers, what makes us do what we do. This isn't our first business, and probably won't be our last, but this time we wanted to give something back”.

“A good cause every month is what we can guarantee and a beautiful ring for a beautiful woman is also something we can be sure of” Tahlia says. “It’s the perfect gift for your mum, your sister, your best friend or just a little something special for you” she says.

Cody says, “We wanted to work for a cause, and Tahlia also wanted to pursue one of her many passions, that being beautiful jewellery”.

Maysie  is a website that sells women beautiful rings, with $10 worth of proceeds from each sale going straight to a charitable cause. “We wanted to help more than one cause, as in my life I have been touched by many different worthy causes and I don't believe we could possibly choose just one to send our love”, says Tahlia.

Maysie officially launched on June 1, 2015 and their first nominated charity is Assist A Sista. They are a Gold Coast based group of community volunteers who work together to help survivors of domestic violence to rebuild and repair by bringing hope and restoring faith. They are excited to be their first cause and Cody and Tahlia look forward to giving them a cheque on June 30 from their Maysie ring sales.

Maysie Rings are specially chosen. Each ring design embodies a symbol. Each ring symbolises a thoughtful and beautiful sentiment to helping a cause.

Tahlia says, “My hope for this business is to touch many women's lives, empower individuals to do what they can to help as well as to encourage every Maysie ring wearer that they have made a difference”.
