Brisbane based Swimwear Company Rashoodz is off to the Oscars in 2016 to rub shoulders with academy award nominees while offering their product in the Oscars lucrative gifting lounge.
Rashoodz creator Laura Furiosi launched her company in 2008 after patenting a unique children’s swimsuit that puts a stop to toddlers taking off their hats while in the sun.
“Our swimwear is stocked in the UK, UAE, USA, Japan and all over Australia. Our customers love our innovative product and we are thrilled to be chosen to share our product with Hollywood’s most revered actors,” Ms Furiosi says.
Product placement and celebrity endorsement is priceless advertising for growing companies with just one photo having the potential to sell thousands of units.
“We are so excited to see where our swimwear ends up and to be able to put our product directly into the hands of celebrities, we hope it opens up a lot of doors for our brand,” Ms Furiosi says.
Rashoodz has a dedicated fan base thanks to its distinctive design. The attachable hat stops children taking off their hats while the added clips in the crotch of the baby swimsuit allows parents to easily change their children's nappies.
“Our swimwear is UPF 50+ and chlorine resistant ensuring all costumes are built to last,” Ms Furiosi says.
Since the company’s inception in 2008 Rashoodz has been nominated as most popular fashion brand in the Mother and Baby awards, was a finalist in the Peekaboo Design Awards and St George Banking Group recently nominated Laura as AusMumpreneur of the year.
