Stellar Entertainment has been presented with a distinguished Master Builders Association NSW Excellence in Construction Award for its new Sydney head office within the exciting Entertainment Quarter complex at Moore Park. The MBA Awards are the commercial building industry’s most prestigious awards, attracting entries from the state’s largest commercial, industrial and civil contractors.
The purpose-built $2 million headquarters boasts production studios, custom fixtures, bespoke furniture, state-of-the-art facilities and modern design showcasing the dramatic Australian landscape - each of these elements recognised by the company’s MBA Interior Fitouts category win, highlighting the very best in commercial construction.
“We had very clear ideas about what we wanted to achieve from the space - to continue to meet our high standards for the future of the business and to push the boundaries within our industry” said Stellar Chairman Rob Lynch.
“As a result, we now have our full-suite of services under one roof, in a great space, in the best location for us. It was important for our people to take pride in their working environment and enjoy spending time there, and this space does just that.”
Stellar accepted the honour in front of more than 900 industry experts in commercial construction and design at the black tie MBA NSW Awards ceremony at Sydney’s Star Events Centre on Saturday night.
The fitting award comes as Stellar Entertainment - the leading full Content Service Provider in the Asia Pacific region - celebrates 40 years of dedication to the industry with its new office, created by Stellar co-founder Helen Lynch and interior designer Sean Yeap from SWOT Design Group specialising in modern, edgy concepts.
“The investment is a significant milestone in our company’s commitment to the region and our locally-based clients,” Mr Lynch said.
“The new facility is fully equipped with private encoding rooms, an audio duplication studio, video editing and audio production suites and a soundproof green screen room. Our new headquarters is a true expression of our expertise, innovation and most importantly, our dedication to the industry.”
Built by award-winning commercial builders Erilyan, the impressive space offers world-class facilities, a break-out area with pool table, external spaces, and contemporary board and meeting rooms complemented by a stunning reception.
Erilyan director Karl Mayoh is thrilled by the win, saying Stellar’s space is very deserving of the award.
“Erilyan loved working with Stellar on their impressive new space – the stunning result is worthy of this honour and everyone involved in the project should be very proud,” he said.
