New Travel Insurance Brand for Women Announces Partnership with Women’s Legal Service NSW and QLD on International Women's Day 2016

Sydney, 8 March 2016
From 8th March, Travel with Jane will support WLS NSW and WLS QLD by donating a percentage of every travel insurance policy sold. This marks the insurer’s first philanthropic partnership with WLS, which commenced with an initial contribution in 2015.
Travel with Jane, which launched earlier this month, is owned by Insured By Us. The Sydney based insuretech firm has been in operation for 3 years. The company's platform, which powers some of Australia’s biggest insurance brands, is now being put to the test to deliver a travel insurance experience for Australian women and their families.
The partnership with WLS in NSW and QLD is a clear indicator of the emphasis Insured by Us places on education and financial literacy.
“Our hope is that, even in a small way, we can help to educate more people about the important work the WLS do,” says Insured By Us Director, Ben Webster.
“When we started Travel with Jane, we knew as a team that we wanted to give back to Australian women in a meaningful way. From an insurance point of view, we’ve identified a gap in the way policy information and pricing structure is communicated to women. This is a problem seen across the financial services sector, which we’ve set out to address through an investment in consumer education.
“When considering our initial philanthropic partnerships, supporting legal services for women was a natural extension. Similar partnerships with the Women’s Legal Service in each state will be announced in the coming months.” Mr Webster concluded.
