Announcement posted by BIReady Australia 02 Nov 2016
Sydney, November 2, 2016– Australian company, Ajilius, a rapidly-growing player in the Data Warehouse Automation market, has just announced its OEM relationship with CData, a leading vendor of connectivity drivers.
Ajilius is already making a good impact on the Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing space with many new customers worldwide, and with the assistance of their Australian partner, BIReady, they now have some runs on home soil – with some major household names signing up.
The OEM agreement between Ajilius and CData now avails CData’s entire set of JDBC connectivity drivers to Ajilius customers. There are over 70 drivers which allow Ajilius to directly connect and extract data from over 70 different applications and web services.
A full list of the sources now fully supported by Ajilius may be found at http://www.cdata.com/jdbc/
Ajilius CEO, Ron Dunn comments, “This partnership brings Ajilius direct data sourcing from applications including Salesforce, Dynamics, SAP, Quickbooks, Xero, Reckon, Marketo, ServiceNow; social media integration with Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn; and information sources such as OData, OFX, PayPal and eTrade. In keeping with our policy of delivering new features with unbeatable value, use of these drivers is included in the Ajilius licence. Depending on the drivers you use, this represents a potential value of thousands of dollars per year in licence costs alone.”
Ajilius follows the Kimball methodology and has already shown to deliver information systems in a fraction of the time as needed by traditional data warehouse development.
Customers can build their data warehouses on a wide range of on-premise or Cloud-based database platforms, including SQL Server, Azure SQL, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, PostgreSQL/EnterpriseDB, Amazon Redshift and Snowflake.
Ajilius even has a feature to switch database platforms automatically, so an Ajilius customer is never locked into any specific database technology and can change at will.
Besides support for the CData drivers, the most recent version of Ajilius also contains a Data Profiling capability. Ajilius also creates all documentation for the generated warehouse.
The agility of Ajilius makes it possible to change and prototype on the fly during the development phase, which brings a huge advantage in quickly carrying out adjustment requirements brought about by end-user feedback.
Mr. Prabhjot Singh, IT Manager of Doors Plus says “We were impressed with the ease and speed at which Ajilius gave us our first trial data warehouse iteration. We got our first cut of the warehouse in just a few hours – proving to us that Ajilius clearly offers speed and cost savings over ETL development. We have acquired the product and we are very excited about this CData development.”
