COTTON ON BODY LAUNCHES PREMIUM SLEEP RANGE TO PROMOTE POSITIVE SLEEP

Announcement posted by Two Birds Talking 24 Jan 2017

Cotton On Body creates sleep survey and sleep range

Lifestyle brand Cotton On BODY is taking sleepwear to the next level by introducing a collection that promotes a good night’s sleep, just in time for the New Year.

BODY anticipates the range will be welcomed, with 85 per cent of Australian women believing what they wear to bed impacts their quality of sleep, according to a survey conducted by the brand.

While a large majority of Australian women get the recommended 7-8 hours sleep a night, almost half are left wanting more. In fact, 40 per cent of women said a good night’s sleep was better than pizza, a day of shopping and a decent workout.

Supporting the campaign is bestselling author and self-love guru, Melissa Ambrosini, who firmly believes in the importance of getting a good night’s sleep.

“At a time when we are so focused on health and fitness, we often forget that the amount of sleep we get every night is just as important as regular workouts and a nutritious diet.

“I have a few sleep hacks to ensure quality sleep - I wear an eye mask and ear plugs, I have block out curtains and I have lavender essential oil that I put on my sheets before I go to sleep. I also turn off my devices before dinner,” said Ambrosini.

It seems women may need to review their pre-bed routine to catch quality Zs. Seventy one per cent scan social media right before bed, with 41 per cent saying they cannot sleep without a final device check.

Cotton On BODY’s premium sleep range is engineered for comfort with functional, super soft breathable bamboo viscose material to enhance relaxation, wellbeing and ultimately a snug and sound night’s sleep. The material stays cool and dry through the night with moisture wicking technology.

Cotton On Body Trend Director, Stephanie Keen, said “We saw an opportunity to offer women a range to help encourage better sleep patterns. The new collection helps Australians look and feel good whilst recovering, resting and relaxing.

“The range is also designed to take you from bed to lounge as the styles are quite versatile and can be worn outside the bedroom.”

Cotton On Body’s premium sleepwear range will boast tanks, pants, shorts and sleep recovery tees in a block navy and grey colourways.

The collection will be available in selected Australian stores and online at cottononbody.com from January.
