Defence Force Recruiting to hire senior marketing officer

The Australian Defence Force’s recruitment arm, Defence Force Recruiting (DFR), and ManpowerGroup is in need of a senior marketing officer to be based in Canberra, as a maternity leave cover post. The senior marketing officer is tasked with overseeing current marketing projects and to develop the associated content for them, from digital/social content to advertising material. They will also track each marketing campaign’s analytics and resources allocated. The work will be carried out alongside DFR and ManpowerGroup’s Brand, Digital, Media, Research and Social Media teams, plus the brand manager and marketing officer for the Royal Australian Air Force. The post is only open for Australian citizens, preferably candidates with detailed experience in management, marketing, and advertising. Essential skills required include budget accounting, data analysis, building relations with the media, stakeholders, and supplier. The candidate must also successfully pass the ADF’s background checks and be granted a security clearance.
