Blue Planet adds new clients

Balmain, Sydney agency Blue Planet has new and retained clients in the fold for the winter 2020 season.
On the new clients front, Blue Planet will represent smarthome equipment company EZVIZ. Founded in 2013, EZVIZ specializes in home automation and security technology such as video doorbells, security cameras, and WiFi routers.
For client retentions, the agency will join forces with the Australian Red Cross in preparing for this year’s World First Aid Day on 12 September.

Luke Brewer joins Linear Clinical Research as head of marketing and communications
Luke Brewer has joined not-for-profit Linear Clinical Research as head of marketing and communications, where he will lead the organisation's marketing, communications and brand strategy.
Brewer announced the appointment on LinkedIn, saying the opportunity to help build the organisation's marketing and communications function and support its mission of advancing human health drew him to the role.
He will oversee corporate communications, brand management, digital marketing, media relations, content strategy, recruitment marketing and internal communications to strengthen awareness and engagement across healthcare, research and community audiences.
Brewer brings more than a decade of marketing leadership experience, most recently serving as national marketing manager at VetPartners Australia and New Zealand.

Joshua Barton has joined Uniting Communities as head of marketing, communications and advocacy, leading the organisation's marketing, communications and advocacy function.
Barton announced the move on LinkedIn, saying he was excited to join the purpose-led organisation and contribute to its mission of enriching lives and supporting communities across South Australia. Barton joins Uniting Communities from Novita, where he most recently served as executive marketing manager and fundraising after previously holding the roles of general manager marketing and fundraising, and general manager marketing and engagement.

Madeleine Boyd joins Estée Lauder as senior vice president of global brand communications
The Estée Lauder Companies has appointed former MECCA and Vogue Australia executive Madeleine Boyd as senior vice president of global brand communications.
Based in New York, Boyd will establish and lead a newly integrated global brand communications team, overseeing communications strategy across the company's prestige beauty portfolio. She takes up the role on 20 July.
Meridith Webster, chief communications and public affairs officer at The Estée Lauder Companies, said Boyd would help evolve how the company's brands connect with consumers.
