Use AI for speed, not for soul: How PR agencies are adapting to AI
By Pavithra in Media News on Monday, 08th June 2026 at 2:30pm
Artificial intelligence has rapidly moved from an experimental tool to a regular part of daily operations in many Indian PR agencies. What began as assistance for research and editing is now influencing how press releases are drafted, refined and distributed.
While supporters say AI improves efficiency and frees teams to focus on strategic work, critics warn that overreliance on automation could weaken originality, creativity and brand storytelling. As a result, many agencies are establishing internal guardrails around how AI is used, with human review, fact-checking and editorial oversight remaining essential before content reaches journalists.
The conversation is also expanding beyond productivity. Questions around transparency, accountability and content ownership are becoming increasingly important as clients seek clarity about AI's role in communications.
For Gaurav Pandey, PR Advisor and Founder of Gaurav Pandey Media Company, the future of PR will depend on how agenci

Vishnudas Chapke presents a flower plant to the Honourable Environment Minister of Italy, Sergio Costa
When former journalist Vishnudas Chapke left Mumbai on March 19, 2016, he expected to spend a few months travelling overland by foot from India to Thailand before returning home and perhaps writing a book about the experience.
Instead, he came back three years and three days later after travelling through 35 countries across five continents, becoming the first Indian to circumnavigate the globe largely by land.
But for Vishnudas, the most meaningful part of the journey was not the distance covered. It was the trees he planted along the way.
Today, as the world marks Environment Day, his story offers an unusual example of how travel, gratitude and environmental action can come together.
The idea of travelling around the world was sparked years earlier after Vishnudas met Indian Navy officer Captain Dilip Donde, who had completed a solo circumnavigation by sea.

Albanese doubles down on budget tax reforms as answer to “grievance” politics
Anthony Albanese is using a major speech to frame the budget as a remedy for national discontent, rejecting calls—particularly from business—to water down policy settings while pitching Australia as open for investment. It’s a clear signal Labor intends to prosecute the political case for its economic agenda rather than negotiate it away,
Bihar police issues notice to X over Siwan lynching posts
By Staff Writer in Media News on Thursday, 04th June 2026 at 6:20pm
The Cyber Police Station in Bihar’s Siwan district has issued an emergency notice to social media platform X (formerly Twitter), seeking the removal of several posts related to the alleged mob lynching of 25-year-old Shahzad Ali, a Muslim youth.
The notice, dated June 1, cited content as “objectionable, misleading and fact-less” with potential to disturb law and order. It was issued under Section 79(3)(B) of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and Section 94 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS).
According to police, viral posts carried implications for public order, including possible threats to life and property. Among the cited posts was one by journalist Meer Faisal, Founder Editor of The Observer Post, who shared a photograph alleging that a police officer could be seen smiling near Shahzad Ali’s body.
The killing has sparked outrage. Ali’s wife, Mobina Khatoon, said a group of men arrived at their home, called him outside, and forcibly took him away. T
