Business | Why are we still using paper and pencil when online voting is superior in every way and is apparently so easy, NSW can just whip it up whenever it feels like it?

Joseph Brookes from InnovationAus covered NSW Minister for Digital Victor Dominello saying that online voting for state elections would be easy, comparing it to betting on horse racing. Apparently, because bets can be settled in five minutes, that type of system can be extrapolated to dealing with the much more complex voting system. That’s despite Brookes pointing out that the state’s election authority said it lacks funding to fix urgent cyber security risks.
