State of IT to become annual project

By Elliott Richardson in Media News on
iTnews’ State of IT project which was released at the end of September is set to become an annual analysis of state government digital solutions.   Deputy editor of iTnews Justin Hendry led the project and tells Influencing that based on how the market has received this year’s edition, the outlet is looking to produce State of IT annually.   “While we’re still very much in the launch phase, based on the response to this year’s report so far we intend on turning it into an annual project that tracks the progress of governments over time,” he said.   The analysis of state government IT projects has garnered attention from NSW Minister for Digital, Victor Dominello, who publicised the state government being awarded a score of 13/14.   The 2021 State of IT edition was the first since 2014 with Hendry saying the industry has heavily changed since then, and it was time to seriously look at how governments are adapting.   &ldqu
