GT Communications adds new staff and accounts

Sydney/Perth PR/communications agency GT Communications has taken in fresh personnel and new clients as it celebrates a first year in operations.At GT’s Sydney office, Emilie Dye comes aboard as a new advisor. She has been in Australia for the past two years, working as communications manager and policy director with the Australian Taxpayers’ Alliance, and contributor for the Young Voices.
Kelly Oversby joins the Perth office as lead advisor for B2B and corporate clients. She holds over 18 years’ experience in the PR/communications sector, 12 of which were for her own boutique consultancy, plus WA communications manager with Foster’s and Dialight’s APAC marketing manager.
Katie Rodwell is also based in the Perth office as a senior advisor for reputation management and B2C. ...

Ivy Shih joins Australian Museum
Ivy Shih has announced that she has taken up a role as a senior media and communications manager at the Australian Museum.
She will uncover and showcase scientific research and collections to the public and media, focusing on the Australian Museum Research Institute.

Upcycle Communications expands regional footprint
Southeast Asian luxury and hospitality PR agency Upcycle Communications is expanding its regional presence with new on-ground teams in Kuala Lumpur and Manila.
The expansion builds on the agency’s Singapore headquarters and is aimed at strengthening local market expertise and cultural insight across Southeast Asia.
