Hildebrand leaving Studio 10

Joe Hildebrand’s time at Studio 10 is over.
He tearfully stated in yesterday’s episode that today’s broadcast will be his last. He connected his exit to Ten’s recent announcement of cutbacks – including Studio 10’s Kerri-Anne Kennerley and Natarsha Belling.
“Channel 10 and my lovely bosses asked me if I would stay in a new role. We talked warmly and openly about what that might look like, and they were really keen and really lovely about it… it would probably just be better to draw a line under this amazing story and give the new show, whatever it may look like, a chance to breathe and have a fresh start without me hanging around,” he said.
