Today's Australian Financial Review features a story grab on page one about Australian company DroneShield and its founder and CEO Oleg Vornik (he's the one with the rather large gun in the picture) who has unloaded all his shares in the "hot defence stock", as the AFR puts it. Along with shares offloaded by the Chairman and another director it has seen the once sizzling stock now fall by a whopping 31 per cent, writes Amelia McGuire and Jonathan Shapiro. At the time of writing, no reason has been given by Vornik for the share sell-off.   A journalist identified as Deepak Adhikari was brutally attacked by a group of goons while he was covering illegal construction work being carried out on government-owned land. According to reports, Adhikari was covering ongoing construction carried on land near a drain in the Unchapul area, Haldwani, Uttarakhand on Tuesday. His colleague was recording the video when a few miscreants grabbed Deepak by his collar and assaulted him. When he tried to resist, the attackers attempted to snatch the camera. A video of the incident has gone viral on social media. It is alleged that the attack was carried out at the behest of a local builder involved in the illegal construction on the land. The Kulgam Working Journalists Association (KWJA) has elected its new executive body during an election held at Town Hall Kulgam, with journalists from across the district participating in the voting process. According to the election committee, senior journalist Khurshid Padroo was elected as the 8th President of the association, while Umaisar Gull was unanimously chosen as the General Secretary. Formed in 2007, when Kulgam was declared a separate district, KWJA has been committed to promoting professional, ethical, and collaborative journalism in the region. The association said that an oath-taking ceremony will be held separately in Kulgam, where the remaining office-bearers will be formally inducted, Kashmir News Service reported.
