Jagran Prakashan board approves five-year reappointments of four directors

Jagran Prakashan’s board has approved the reappointment of Dhirendra Mohan Gupta, Sunil Gupta, Sanjay Gupta and Shailesh Gupta as whole-time directors for a further five-year term, subject to shareholder approval. Their new terms will begin on October 1, 2026, after their current terms end on September 30, according to a stock exchange filing dated August 12.
Dhirendra Mohan Gupta, 82, has more than 60 years of industry experience, while Sunil Gupta, 64, has over 45 years of experience in print media. Sanjay Gupta, 63, has more than 45 years of industry experience, while Shailesh Gupta, 57, has over 35 years of experience in the media industry, according to the filing, as reported by Adgully.
