Jeffery leaves Canberra Times

Stephen Jeffery has stepped down as producer at The Canberra Times.
He said in his Twitter profile that he was leaving to relocate to Ottawa, Canada with his wife, who is starting a new job there. He had been with the Times since October 2015, following his exit from reporting and editing for papers in Queensland’s Redland region.
“Bittersweet as this farewell is, we’re both looking forward to a change of pace. We’re moving to a federal capital built as a compromise… that has a place starting with ‘Q’ over the border… about to open a new light rail network… ok, I think we’ll be right at home in Ottawa,” one Tweet read.
