The Indian Federation of Working Journalists (IFWJ) has renewed its demand for a journalist protection law in Rajasthan, saying the government must move beyond assurances and take concrete steps to address journalists’ safety, livelihood and other long-pending demands. Journalists from various districts gathered at Shaheed Smarak in Jaipur on Wednesday, October 28, to mark the organisation’s 76th foundation day and highlight the challenges faced by the media fraternity.
