Macquarie Sports Radio to sign out talk shows

Macquarie Sports Radio’s talk shows are going off the air.
Macquarie Media chairman Russell Tate said all sports talk programming will finish at 11 PM on 1 November 2019. The stations in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane will also undergo a content review all summer long.
However, Macquarie Sports Radio will still continue live broadcasts of the English Premier League and cricket games such as the ODIs and Big Bash League.
“The stations will draw an increased amount of content from local and international partners, including Macquarie Media’s News Talk stations and Nine, and will continue to access Macquarie National News services for constantly updated sporting news,” Tate stressed.
