OUJ state conference and annual function highlights journalists’ demands

At the Odisha Union of Journalists (OUJ) state conference and the annual function of the Bhadrak District Journalists’ Union (BUJ), OUJ State President Prasanna Kumar Mohanty reiterated the long-pending demands of journalists, including legal protection, pension benefits, and the reconstitution of the Press Accreditation Committee.
The event, held on June 3, saw the participation of around 500 journalists from across Odisha.
Odisha Minister for Higher Education, Sports & Youth Services, and Odia Language, Literature and Culture, Suryabanshi Suraj, attended the programme and assured participants that the government is working towards addressing these demands.
