Seven farewells Doherty

Doherty joins Stephen Beckett, head of public affairs at BAC in his new role to work on Queensland’s tourism economy and the 2032 Brisbane olympics.
Doherty posted his departure on LinkedIn, thanking 7News for his farewell saying “No greater honour”.
“My Cup which was full is now overflowing with gratitude and love & enough memories to last a lifetime,” he said.
He was a senior producer at the Seven Network for more than 28 years where he covered live broadcasts, special broadcasts, projects and the 6 pm bulletin. He was also a documentary producer, promo producer and flashback creator where he produced 825 episodes of the Queen...
