Smart House goes all AI

4Square Media's Richards: "It's quite frightening"
Smarthouse will use artificial intelligence to write every word of its next digital magazine, with the exception of publisher David Richards’ editorial.
The magazine is one of an increasing number of AI experiments being carried out by publishers, sometimes transparently, sometimes not, which is raising questions across the industry about ethics and copyright.
Richards told Influencing that Smarthouse had been developing a system using Microsoft Copilot to conduct interviews, do research and then automatically write that source material up as stories.
“It will write reviews, by taking information from retailers' websites, our websites, my competitors and hash them together as one story,” Richards told Influencing.
