SMH/The Age Canberra team adds new staff

The Canberra bureau of The Sydney Morning Herald (SMH) and The Age has new staff on deck.
SMH European correspondent-designate Bevan Shields tweeted the new staff roster. He will entrust his old post of bureau chief to Angus Livingston, who previously covered Canberra politics for the AAP.
Anthony Galloway is coming in as foreign affairs and national security correspondent. He was with the Melbourne Herald Sun for four years, which included a national political reporter post.
Current SMH media and telecommunications reporter Jennifer Duke is heading from Sydney to the ACT as economics reporter.
National rural affairs reporter Mike Foley is onboard as climate and energy reporter. He has been tackling agriculture topics since starting out at The Land in 2011.
