Agent99 lands new clients

PR agency Agent99 has won the accounts for seafood delivery business FishMe! and productivity leader Donna McGeorge, reported B and T. The FishMe! deal involves PR and influencer relations, sampling events, and chef partnerships. Business owners Wilson and Janice Tiu tapped Agent99 for the account, based on the agency’s successful work on their online furniture store Luxo Living. For McGeorge, the Agent99 team will run her thought leadership content and build up awareness for the launch of “The One-Day Refund: Take back time, Spend it wisely,” the third in her It’s About Time series of workplace efficiency guides. It is currently earmarked for an early 2022 release. “We have had an incredibly strong year, and we’ve seen our client portfolio and staff numbers grow exponentially, which we are so very grateful for during a very turbulent time. We are thrilled to close off the year with these latest wins and look forward to an epic 2022.

AMI announces 2021 award winners

The Australian Marketing Institute (AIM) has recognised a new batch of honourees at this year’s national Awards for Marketing Excellence. In the special categories, the Certified Practicing Marketer of the Year title went to Kristie Atkins, managing partner of Wink, and Jane Hillsdon of Dragonfly Marketing.  Tom Woodward of Crimsafe Security Systems earned the honours for chief marketing officer of the year. The Life Member awards went to SGS Australia GM for sales and marketing Lynda Cavalera and TM Clark and Associates director Trevor Clark.  Meanwhile, for the campaign category, the Claire Bennett agency’s Original Tasmanian Timber campaign stood tall for best in brand revitalisation, integrated marketing communications program, product/service revitalisation, and insight-driven marketing.  The Civil Aviation Safety Authority went home with the social change marketing and market and consumer research awards for its Know Your Drone campaign.  The McGrath Foundation’s

Joiner leaves NZME PR

Cliff Joiner has stepped down from his PR/communications general manager role with NZME in New Zealand.  He said in a LinkedIn message that he has taken up a very lucrative role at BNZ and NZME is already searching for his successor. Joiner previously worked with BNZ as communications support for the CEO and as external communications manager before joining NZME in April 2019. Blackburn to lead Finder ANZ PR

Taylor Blackburn has been appointed the ANZ PR head for comparison site Finder. He stepped up to the plate after Adam Freedman announced his resignation after five months in office to pursue new work in the consumer lifestyle arena. Blackburn has been with Finder since September 2018 when he joined as media relations lead. He had been in charge of ANZ media relations for two months when Freedman stepped down.  Blackburn previously worked senior account roles at Ogilvy PR, Crossman Communications, Haystac, and Howorth Communications. PRINZ sports new look

The Public Relations Institute of New Zealand (PRINZ) has debuted an all-new brand identity (pictured). The rebrand is centred on gradual colouring from salmon pink to violet and two carets slightly facing each other, which are meant to signify two-way communications. The use of the PRINZ acronym in official communications will be reduced, and the brand name is available in English and Te Reo Maori.  Members will also be accorded special tiered bronze, silver, or gold badges to firmly identify themselves in official correspondences and social media accounts.
