WPP AUNZ prepares gender split for top roles

WPP AUNZ will be instituting a gender diversity policy as it aims to have an equal number of men and women in senior roles over the next two years.
Executive Director/interim CEO John Steedman said the move is part of WPP AUNZ’s drive for its companies to have a more diverse staff pool and help them move forward.
Recent moves in this direction include membership in the Diversity Council of Australia and Diversity Works in New Zealand, new recruitment initiatives for asylum seekers, Indigenous Australians, and Torres Strait Islanders, expanded parental leave policies and the company’s Walk the Talk program.
