MY CHINESE TUTOR provides convenient and affordable access to highly qualified bi-lingual native Mandarin teachers that are predominantly based in Beijing, China. Lessons are conducted one-on-one via the video conferencing platform, Skype, and have traditionally lasted 50 minutes. Lessons are booked and tutors are selected via our easy to use website, www.mychinesetutor.org. In this way, students are able to select the teacher that best meets their needs and a time that is most convenient to them. This service is ideal for students wanting to practise their pronunciation or who would like to spend more time going over the material that they had covered in class during the week. The service also teaches young professionals for their short or long stays in China. The idea was conceived by Tom Shugg, CEO and Co-founder, who had become frustrated travelling 50 minutes and paying exorbitant prices for an hour lesson with a Chinese tutor in Melbourne.
