PDC Creative has worked on the campaign advertising for the Strand Arcade for the past 5 years. Creative Director Caroline Poiner continues to develop concepts that position the Strand Arcade as unique, high-end fashion offer with an authentic, atelier style shopping experience – the home of Australian fashion. As a key element to this season’s concept, Caroline initiated the partnership with Artisans of Fashion based on the rationale that The Strand Arcade is showing leadership as a retail centre by taking on a partnership of this nature. It goes beyond the designers involved, it is a current global interest that is highly relevant in the luxury consumer market. “Consumer awareness and concern for social, ethical and environmental issues also underpin a desire for their purchases to provide a lasting, meaningful experience.” Partnering with the Artisans of Fashion was an opportunity for The Strand Arcade to promote CSR – positioning The Strand Arcade as a leader in the Australian fashion industry.
