Plastic Waste Solutions (PWS) is a company focused on raising awareness of the issue of plastic waste. Plastic as we all know is great, it lasts a long time and doesn't fall apart. However once we are finished with it, it still has the same properties. Plastic waste is going to last 100's of years. Every piece of plastic every made in the last 50 years is still with us somewhere. We generated more plastic in the last 10 years than all of the last century and the output is increasing. Disposable plastic items such as drink and food containers and take away items have a life time of just minutes yet they will last 100's of years after they have been disposed of. This is not a sustainable practice at all. PWS works on making other options aware to people and government such as going back to cardboard packaging, reusable packaging and bags, or landfill-biodegradable plastics.
