About Us

Mob on the Move is a month-long movement challenge (15 February – 15 March 2026) inspired by Sydney's Traditional Custodians. Participants walk, run, ride, or swim to set personal goals, track progress, and raise funds for Redfern Jarjum College—an independent Jesuit primary school delivering culturally safe, wrap-around education for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children in Redfern facing complex challenges. As they move, participants unlock digital First Nations badges sharing Indigenous stories and knowledge. All donations support Jarjum's key services: daily transport, meals, low student-to-teacher ratios, health/counselling support, Aboriginal-led cultural programs (art, music, dance, storytelling), uniforms, excursions, and sports—helping kids build confidence, embrace heritage, and transition to mainstream schooling.
