Survival Craft Inspectorate has more than 20 years' experience in the manufacture, inspection, testing and servicing of lifeboats, fast rescue craft, off/on-load release mechanisms, winches and davits to international standards. Safelaunch® is an offload / onload lifeboat release and retrieval system designed and manufactured by Survival Craft Inspectorate to eliminate the common operating problems associated with other release mechanisms. Safelaunch® meets the latest requirements of SOLAS, IMO and LSA codes and is approved by DNV in accordance with the EU Marine Equipment Directive (MED). The addition of RocLoc to Safelaunch creates a global market leader in safe release gear that complies with the latest SOLAS, IMO and LSA Code regulations. Survival Craft Inspectorate has 60 engineers and 140 staff in total at offices in Aberdeen, Great Yarmouth, Stavanger, Singapore, Malaysia, Western Australia and St John’s in Canada.
